Bad Times AI photo guide: which photo works, and why some fail review
The four photo habits that decide the result, the file rules, and what happens to your credits when a photo is rejected.
The four habits
- One subject, face toward the camera, both eyes visible
- Bright, even light — no harsh side shadow
- Waist-up or more for people, head-to-tail for pets
- Empty hands, no stickers or filters across the face
Files and limits
JPG, PNG or WebP under 20 MB. Photos are reviewed before rendering; the review runs on the model provider's side.
What fails review
Celebrity photos, film and music-video stills, other people without consent, second people in frame where the template expects one subject, and anything that looks like an attempt to impersonate someone.
If it is rejected
Credits return automatically. A video bought at checkout can be reused for one free re-run from the same order page with a different photo.
One photo, the original moves and the song. 15 seconds, no watermark, credits back if the render fails.
