NEWPut your cat in the BAD TIMES trend

How to make the Bad Times AI video from one photo

The full walkthrough: which template to pick, which photo to use, what it costs and where your video appears afterwards.

What you are making

A short vertical clip in which the person or pet from your photo performs the BAD TIMES argument: head in hands, hands on hips, a "hold on" palm, then a lunge at the lens, all lip-synced to Imael Angel's song. The moves and the handheld camera come from a reference clip; your photo supplies the lead, the outfit and the room.

Pick the template that matches the photo

The templates are not cosmetic. Each one follows a different reference take, and each accepts a different subject.

  • Bad Times — one person, the original take
  • Pet and Cat — one pet per photo, only Premium
  • Baby — your own child, uploaded by a parent
  • Duo and Family — one photo of both people, or one each
  • Halloween — one person plus a costume choice, or your pet in costume
  • Two pets — two photos, one pet each

Which photo to use

One subject, face clearly toward the camera, bright and even light, waist-up for people and as much of the animal as you can for pets. Keep hands empty and visible, and crop group shots down to the subject. Stickers and heavy filters over the face are the most common reason a photo fails review.

Cost, timing and where the video appears

A render costs 4 credits on Budget, 8 on Balanced and 15 on Premium; a single video without an account starts at $7.99. Renders usually finish in a few minutes. Signed in, the result appears in the studio and in My videos. Without an account, it lives on the order page you land on after checkout — keep that link.

What to expect from the result

Breed, coat, face, hair and clothes carry over; an exact likeness is not guaranteed, especially in the fastest beats. Label the clip as AI when you post, since that is what it is.

One photo, the original moves and the song. 15 seconds, no watermark, credits back if the render fails.
